Be Fluent NYC is New York City's premier private English tutoring service dedicated to helping clients improve their English by using innovative techniques. Our mission is to provide the highest quality teaching for clients looking to expand their career prospects, or simply feel more confident in their day to day conversations.

Since each client is unique in their learning style, background, and level all lessons are customized to their specific needs as well as interests, through ongoing assessment and evaluation by our highly experienced and passionate instructors.

Clients, at every level go through a three stage grammar-based curriculum combined with a heavy focus on error analysis, enabling them to progress at their own pace. In addition to personalized attention, learners alternate between two instructors (usually male and female), giving them access to different pronunciations, intonation, vocabulary, and personalities, furthering their interactions with native speakers.

Co-founders Masha and Sinan have been teaching, researching, and collecting the errors of English language learners for more than five years. This, in turn, has familiarized them with the grammatical structures of languages such as Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Turkish, etc… In formulating the school’s system, they based it on all of this varied teaching experience, and thus the Be Fluent method was created.
